Marie Hornback

Marie has mastered American Cursive Handwriting under Michael Sull’s tutelage. Mr. Sull is the author of the American Cursive Handwriting Curriculum which Marie uses to teach cursive handwriting to children and adults. Marie has been teaching handwriting for over ten years and is familiar with many systems of cursive handwriting.  She has spent the past 9 years teaching handwriting to grades 3-6 at a public classical school. Marie taught Handwriting at the 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022 IAMPETH Conferences. She served as President of IAMPETH 2018-2019 and has served on the Board since 2017. She is also skilled in the art of broad edge and pointed pen calligraphy.   Marie is the Co-Founder and Director of the American Cursive Instructor Certification Program,  which began in 2015.
