I am a mother and grandmother who enjoys many pleasures in life:  the smell of pine trees when we go to the mountains, the sound of waves and the salt sea air along the Oregon coast, and the love of God and family.  I have always loved creating since my grandmother showed me how to embroider when I was seven years old.  For the last 10-12 years, my attention has been focused on the lettering arts.  I enjoy monoline, broad edge pen, and pointed pen lettering.  For the past 7 years I have been teaching American Cursive Handwriting at a classical school to grades 3-6. I served as IAMPETH President 2018-2018 and Immediate Past President, 2019-2020. I was honoured to be an IAMPETH  faculty member in 2017 and 2018. In 2015, I co-founded the American Cursive Instructor Certification Program (ACICP) with Master Penman, Michael Sull.  Our goal was and is, to teach others how to teach American Cursive Handwriting.
